Elwood Pipe Creek Genealogy Society Announces their 3rd annual seminar/fair to be held: SATURDAY, SEPT. 25, 2010

SEMINAR WILL BE HELD AT: The Family Life Center, Main Street Wesleyan Church, 2535 Main Street, Elwood, Indiana

Guest Speaker is: Curt Witcher, Department Manager for the Historical Genealogy Department of the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne, IN

Curt will be giving 3 lectures

Schedule of the day's activities:
8:00 a.m. Door open for Vendors to set up

8:30-9:30 a.m.  Guest Registration and Vendor Shopping

9:30-10:30 a.m.  LECTURE: Using Military Records for Genealogical Research

10:30-11:00 a.m.  Break

11:00 to 12:00--LECTURE: An Ancestor's Death--a Time for Reaping

12:00 1:00 p.m.  Lunch

1:00-2:00 p.m. LECTURE: Historical Research Methodology

Seminar cost is only $10.00

Lunch of soup and sandwich is $5.00 or lunch on your own

WITH LIMITED SEATING, REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR THE SEMINAR AND LUNCH

Genealogy vendors, Libraries, Historical and Genealogy Societies are invited to participate. (You may send 2 people as a vendor for FREE)  All you pay is  for your own lunch.

Vendor booths will be open form 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
